Welcome to Early American Textile Tool Registry!
The mission of the registry is to document and catologue as many textile tools and accessories as possible providing a data base for reference and research. In order to achieve this, I accept all photos of tools/accessories sent to me, including fragments. You will find an on-line form here.
There is no charge to register your tool or accessory, but there is an annual membership fee of $25 per person if you decide you'd like access to the data base.
This registry will aid in finding new spinning wheel makers and as yet little known styles and types of weaving looms - giving a greater understanding of home and professional textile production in early America.
